Stopover at Delhi Haat (Dilli Haat)

Do you live in Delhi or nearby Delhi- NCR? Do you want to spend your Sunday somewhere you can shop Indian handicrafts in different places, eat plenty of cuisines? I know your answer must be "YES". The next question which strikes your mind is "Oh! God, now I need to go to 2 or 3 different places because I will not get this under one roof". But guys you're all wrong. Because the panacea for your problem is  "Delhi Haat or Dilli Haat", one of the best places to visit in Delhi. Might be most of us visited "Mini-India" once thus far, but if you didn't you must be missing so many things. I had visited Pitampura Delhi Haat in 2011. It was a very humid day when I decided to go moreover it wasn't a good day to saunter because there was no such rush and fair to admire. But still, I managed to see some artefacts and some sandalwood carvings. You must be thinking what's the general knowledge in that. "Come on guys! Have some patience guys".

There are 3 places where the Delhi Haat is located. One is in Pitampura, nearby Netaji Subhash Place Metro Station (where I visited), the second one is in INA and the latest one is inaugurated in Janakpuri. If you ramble any of them you will find the perfect blend of unique carvings, relics and artisan-ship. This merge casts a spell on you. If you're a shopaholic and a foodie too so this place is nirvana.  Don't judge this place only for apparel fabric and food, this place gives you various reason to visit and one of them is "Home-Decor". You can't resist without picking drapery up. You can easily find homemade leather foot-gears too. But wait for a second, if you think these materials are easily attainable at that point you all are getting me wrong. You need to spend profusely but if you are a bargainer by heart you can exercise your bargaining skills over here.

If someone wants to give a treat to his taste-buds Dilli Haat is "Heaven on earth". You can easily find a feast of cuisines on segregated stalls. "Oh you trinket lover, don't get sad buddy cause this place has also something for you". Even I bought one pair of "Fishhook drop wooden" earrings for 50 bucks. You can see them in the above pictures. This place is full of art, food and gems too. Beaded and gem add-on gives much hype to this place. What a perfect consolidation of huge variety. You can't skip this place if you are a photo fanatic. Thus don't get caught up in words, just grab a metro or car and visit this place soon.
