Magan Carta is not an English word as it seems. It's an ancient Greek word. if you translate word by word, it will come out as "GREAT CHARTER". Now some "WHY, WHAT, WHERE" are scratching your head and trying to figure out what the hell is this? So "Catch" is that, in 1215 some rebellious barons had gone mad at King John of England. Barons were against his arbitrary powers. When sovereign had learnt about their fatal intentions he tried to make them calm down and Magna Carta was conceived at Runnymede. After some time Pope III had annulled it and declared it
illegal. Thence, unfortunately, charter wasn't lasted but till it had made grounds for 21st century democracy.

IMPACT ON INDIAN CHARTER:-
Every one knows how India was ruled by Britain. It gave us its culture, language, custom and so on. But it also gave its set of laws and principles. Rule of law was the great British export to its colonies. Article 21 { Protection of life and personal liberty} of Indian constituency 1949, has been relied on clause 39 of Magna Carta. It depicts that "No person shall be deprived of his life or personal liberty except according to procedure established by law". This article is not biased by any gender, race and culture inequalities. Basically we can say it's all about "Human Rights" and "Freedom". Clause 39 also has huge impact on The US constitution. First Virginia Charter, guaranteeing settlers rights as free English subject, relies on Magna Carta. "Really influential, must say".
