Red Fort: An Eden for history savvy

Main entrance of "RED FORT" Every time my perennial strive for Indian history leads me to numerous historical monuments and this time my friends and I decided to visit t his red beauty which is situated in the heart of Old Delhi . This stop-off to Lal Qila  took place last year in September when  one of our commonly odd and random conversations proposed us this idea. Do you know " Red Fort  has already earned the distinction of being the UNESCO World Heritage Site"!

Hauz Khas - A place for nightlife or rich Indian history to cherish?

AREA AROUND THE TOMB AND THE MOSQUE Although Indian history is rich in itself, it needs to advertise at times because when time passes, historical monuments start to fade away. Considering this fact, I want to write about one of those sensational places in Delhi, which is known for its music, lights and  restaurants, not for its enormous historical monuments. This colossal "Lake" or "Water Tank" was excavated by Alauddin Khalji, who ruled over Delhi through (1296-1316). The main purpose of this water tank was to supply water to the newly built Siri Fort. Indian History - Riveting Humayun's Tomb

I thought I'd kick off my blog's new post about Humayun's Tomb within last week but it couldn't happen since I had had a very hectic schedule. But now I am so much available to write more and more about my recent visit to this beautiful inimitable prototype of the historical monument.  I visited this place last to last week. Stopover at Delhi Haat (Dilli Haat)

Do you live in Delhi or nearby Delhi- NCR? Do you want to spend your Sunday somewhere you can shop Indian handicrafts in different places, eat plenty of cuisines? I know your answer must be "YES". A Souvenir Of Trade Fair

Hello, how are you all? What is going on? From my side it' s like a fantasy world is clouding me. Yesterday, while combing through archive, I found some old trade fair pictures. After seeing them I was filled with astute nostalgia for my old days. It just took me a while to cast my mind back to those cherish memories. They were as pristine as I have visited that place a little while back. Today my post will be sum and substances of my whole experience.  It was concoction of muggy and parched day when my friend and I decided to amble 31st Indian International Trade fair. We had collected our tickets from "Pragati Maidan Metro Station" (As it was pre-decided venue to get tickets). Pragati Maidan triggers so many childhood memories in view of the fact that in every November my family and I used to go there not only for "TRADE FAIR" but also for "APPU GHAR" .
